Green 4 Solutions has built functionality tailored for the Sports and Leisure industry specifically on the Microsoft Dynamics platform. We have taken this approach because Dynamics offers a proven and tested platform for building application software.

As the diagram below indicates, many of the building blocks that are required for any software development can be achieved through the introduction of the Microsoft “stack”. For example, all system development is carried out on the SQL Server database, providing an open platform which is easy to query and straightforward to integrate with other applications.

Dynamics CRM provides much of the system structure and controls that are required to build any application. Functions such as Security, Workflow Processes and of course the user interface is already in place and therefore reduces the development effort required from Green 4.  Furthermore, as the design of the system is already in place, Green 4 need only concentrate on the functional aspects of the system. Therefore, development of new areas of functionality such as eCommunications, Supporter Portal , Communication Audience and Booking.

In the diagram below it is clear to see that once the overall infrastructure has been decided upon it is straightforward to introduce other applications, be they from Microsoft or other Third Party developers. The Green 4 Integration Mechanism (the road infrastructure in the diagram) is the tool that is used to integrate all business applications and ensure that only clean, deduplicated data is held in the CRM database.
