Second Summer ThinkTank Speaker Confirmed!

Tom Rowell, Head of Brand and Marketing at Birmingham City Football Club has been confirmed as our second speaker for the summer edition of ThinkTank 2016 in July!
Tom graduated with a Masters in Marketing Management and Strategy in 2012 before going on to work for Leicester City as CRM Executive. His next role took him to Wolves as Marketing Manager and is now currently Head of Brand and Marketing at Birmingham City Football Club.

In 2014, the Championship Club took their fan engagement strategy to the next level, with the re-launch of their new ‘Blues Loyalty’ scheme. Working closley with 4Sight Sport & Leisure, the Loyalty programme was re-developed with a vision of rewarding fans for their attendance and purchases whist offering an online portal for fans to check their points balance and trade them for a range of rewards including ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.
Combining best practice thinking with a pragmatic approach, the concept included offering items which fans may not necessarily consider for purchase such as Hospitality and Ball Boy packages as well as ‘money can’t buy’ items such as a ‘Day at the Training Ground’ and ‘Dinner with the Manager’ which have both been available. Blues have also allowed local companies to offer their items as rewards on the site meaning that there really is a reward that every fan would value.
