First Summer ThinkTank Speaker Announced!

Stewart “Stew” Mison, Director of Business Development for Microsoft’s Global Sports Team is the first speaker to be announced for the summer edition of ThinkTank 2016.
Stew is responsible for identifying and growing the company’s relationships with the worldwide professional sports community both at a direct level with international federations, leagues and leading teams and in support of Microsoft’s local offices and their engagement with the sports industry in their markets.
He joined Microsoft eighteen months ago after a long career in sports and entertainment marketing. Starting with IMG in the early 1990’s, he has run his own consulting business, executive produced music and light entertainment programmes and created two advertiser funded TV series. After a short period as a Senior Vice President of Octagon he moved to the media agency side of Inter-Public Group to create and set up the acclaimed sports research business unit FUTURES SPORT+ENTERTAINMENT. Since 2012 Stewart has been involved in Sports Tech – the way the sports industry has moved to embrace digital marketing and fan engagement.
He is a passionate advocate on how and why the sports industry should go through a paradigm shift to engage and transact with its respective fan bases both locally and globally allowing sport clubs and federations to become relevant to the 21st Century and to open new and as yet untapped revenue opportunities.
