Monday January 28, 2013
Rugby World Cup winner and England legend, Neil Back, has today been named as the first ambassador of Green 4 Solutions.
The company, who lead the market for CRM and ticketing solutions in the sports and leisure industry, have secured the partnership as they look to consolidate and develop their growing reputation within rugby union in the UK and worldwide.
Green 4 Solutions’ Director, Peter Oliver, said: “After discussing the potential of working with a sporting ambassador we felt that the selected individuals should be recognisable, respected and share both our ambition and our vision for improved supporter communication and engagement.“Neil is not only well-known, he is a world-class name and a first-class person. He has achieved greatness in rugby as a player and is regarded as a promising coach.
“We feel that Neil’s knowledge of the game and his superb reputation, will help to enhance our status and grow our already significant portfolio within the sports industry.
“Neil has already added a huge boost to our operations and we are particularly excited that he will be joining us in Montpellier in April, as a keynote speaker at our ‘Beyond CRM’ event, and we hope that this heralds the beginning of a long-term partnership.”
Back, who is currently the forwards coach of Scottish RaboDirect Pro 12 side, Edinburgh Rugby, enjoyed a glittering playing career with Leicester Tigers, England and the British and Irish Lions, before managerial spells with Leeds Carnegie and Rugby Lions.
Back, speaking about the partnership with Green 4 Solutions, said: “Having listened to Green 4’s initial presentation, I was in no doubt that this was the type of progressive company I would feel comfortable working with.
“Their ticketing systems are innovative and they have an excellent track record of delivering for their clients, directly helping them to increase sales, whilst saving on expenditure.
“I am already looking forward to speaking to people about Green 4 and to meeting the rugby clubs who use their services. I feel sure that the game could learn a lot from Green 4’s approach, which will then benefit clubs, but importantly for me, the supporters, who are still the heart and soul of the game.”
Neil will work closely with the Green 4 team, attending events, meetings and supporting overall staff development, as well as helping the company with potential business opportunities.
