Sports Coach UK and Sports Council for Wales will co-host this industry leading event, which is targeted at decision makers and those who are responsible for the education and management of sports coaches: system builders and policy makers.
After being part of the 2009 Coaching Awards, Green 4 continue their involvement with sports coach UK by attending this event.
The UK Coaching Summit has become a key event in the drive to build a World-Leading Coaching System in the UK by 2016. The Summit brings together relevant people to review progress; share examples of current best practice; re-focus on the common agenda; publish key documents; and further develop understanding, commitment and cohesion among stakeholders and personnel relating to the implementation of the UK Coaching Framework.
As a key event in the coaching calendar, the Summit provides key stakeholders with the opportunity to review progress in coaching and coach development over the past 12 months, share best practice, reaffirm objectives and commitments and to network with colleagues from other organisations.
In addition to sessions that focus solely on coaching, there will be seminars from contributors working outside the sports coaching sphere, allowing delegates to consider how, and what, sports coaching can learn from other sectors. The planned social programme will capitalise on the Summit’s location, with strong cultural and heritage links. For more information on Sportscoach UK, visit their website: www.sportscoachuk.org.
Green 4’s Player Performance solution; a new innovative mechanism to enhance coaches management of player information in order to progress player development and performance is well suited to this event. Player Performance is set to play and integral part to the future of sport and player performance, and sits well with the discussions and sessions to be held over the two days.
