You will work on a number of projects including Ticketing Systems for a number of Football League and Championship Football Clubs, booking and scoring systems for bowling customers and Administration Systems for a number of high profile governing bodies within the sports industry.
This is a challenging role that requires candidates with the ability to architect and implement software across a broad spectrum of requirements with stringent demands:
Applications need to scale and perform well for databases of millions of customers and periods of very high peak demand.
Customers run their businesses from these systems making reliability and availability essential both from a financial and reputation perspective.
The customer experience and interface needs to be excellent.
Interfaces are required to special ticket printers, access control devices or bowling machines sometime involving embedded systems programming.
Delivery of solutions to mobile devices is becoming increasingly important.
• C# .Net Skills
• SQL Server 05/08
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Relevant Degree to 2:1 Standard or above
VALUABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
• Foreign language skills
• Knowledge of mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Phone)
